Time and time again I hear stories of pregnant women who decided against having an abortion after they see an ultrasound of their unborn baby. As I was getting ready for work this morning, I wondered how many women would decide that abortion is wrong if they could see an ultrasound of an unborn child before they even get pregnant?
Answer: not many.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the assumption that women get abortions because they're ill-informed is ridiculous, already proven false and offensive to women.
Anonymous: A woman interested in having abortion may be fully informed as to what she's carrying inside of her, but actually seeing her child in a 3D ultrasound adds a whole new dimension to it. Have you ever heard of the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words"? I'd say it applies here.
