Every Life is a Miracle

No matter what the circumstances are in which a human life is conceived, each life is a miracle from God. Even though it might not be immediately apparent to us, God has a plan and purpose for each human life. Children that may not be what we consider "normal" are still special, and are a blessing from God. Nobody should assume that such people are going to have a bad life. Only God knows what is in store for them. Many people don't realize that children and adults with special challenges often times help others to grow and become better people.

The following is a music video by Bruce Carroll called "Sometimes Miracles Hide". It's a beautiful song about how children are miracles, even though we may not see it or realize it. I hope the video touches your heart, as it did mine. A specal thanks to my Twitter friend Stephanie for sharing this video with me.

  1. Do you believe that how conception happens is always miraculous?

  2. Christian Prochoicer - I realize that there are a wide variety of circumstances in which children are conceived. Some of these circumstances are loving and tender, and some circumstances, unfortunately, are violent and devoid of love. Regardless of how a child is conceived, the child is a miracle of God's creative power, a being of virtually limitless potential. As a society, we should strive to give each child the best chance at living a happy, healthy, and prosperous life, regardless of the circumstances in which they were conceived. Don't you agree?

  3. You did not answer my question. I understand that you believe children are miracles. Do you believe the act of sex which leads to conception is always miraculous?

  4. Christian Prochoicer - I believe I did answer your question. Obviously, I don't think every sex act is a miraculous event if I admit that some sex acts are violent and devoid of love. I apologize if I didn't make myself clear. Regardless of whether the sex act is a miraculous event or not, the child that is conceived is a miracle of creation and deserving of protection. I ask again, do you agree?
